Highlight Arts web site

With their new branding identity, Highlights Arts asked StudioPretty to design and develop a new web site to match the new look. HLA help throw a spotlight on countries and communities effected by war around the world by championing the indigenous artists and channeling their outputs through events. They needed to bring all this together online in a way that was sympathetic to the artist outputs they help foster through art, poetry, film and music.

East End Film Festival 2015

Black Panther Kathleen Cleaver was the iconic portrait used to encapsulate this years East End Film Festival across print and screen formats.

Richard James AW15 advertising campaign

The latest seasonal ad campaign focuses on much more than just product as always, with this moody and atmospheric image. Working with the brand to create a set of versatile print advertisements, the campaign was managed for publication in leading mens magazines from GQ to Jocks and Nerds.

Richard James SS16 fashion show

Another seasons brand image concept and print collateral for the Richard James SS16 show. This years theme came from the poet and surrealist Edward James’ “Las Pozas” concrete folly in the Mexican jungle. The design of which was inspired both by his orchids and the vegetation of the Huastecan jungle combined with architectural elements taken from the Surrealist movement he was so closely involved with. The studio was engaged to creatively re-brand De Wolfe Music, a 100 year old independent family run production music company. Working with both internal and external stake holders, brand image, identity, tone, concept and vision were discovered and compiled into guidelines.

East End Film Festival 2012

The first year of involvement as agency of choice. A re-brand to visually re-position the festival as the true independent event of its kind in the East End, resulted in a new identity and brand image style that would project the festival through the coming years.

Created for a limited edition run of Japanese Selvedge denim jeans, the creative draws on the Tokyo Rockabilly scene featuring two such Rockers from the famous Yoyogi Park and the Meiji Jingu shrine near Harajuku Station in Tokyo.

Art direction, design and development. A proof of concept site for the social media app FootballAlbum.net. The concept uses a slide-by-slide dialog to explain the different facets of the app using a pitch formation visual metaphor, exploded screen grabs and football sticker feature.

StudioPretty has worked with the innovative Savile Row tailors for over 10 years, helping developing the brand image and supporting the daily needs of a growing fashion brand and menswear tailor. East End Film Festival 2014 moving Image

Creative direction, design and sound design. This animated logo mnemonic was commissioned to play before all the films during the festival. The look and feel was purposely disruptive to encapsulate the independent non-corporate standing of the festival whilst retaining longevity for future use by creating it in black and white. Compositing / animation Plastic Horse.

FME Group stationary

A suitable set of stationary for this technology based trading company based out of the city of London. De-bossed duplexed ColorPlan business cards where matched with letterhead and comp slips.

A cutting edge brand concept mixing naturally occurring mathematical structures as metaphors for this cutting edge trading company based in the City. The set of imagery produced for the web site was also adapted to adorn the head quarter office walls.

Stage One Storyboards web site

With separate sites made for desktop and iOS usage, this web site works as an image lightbox / basket for the studio’s clients, as well as housing content for video and 3D departments for this highly successful Soho based storyboard and production company.

The second year of involvement with the growing festival saw brand development into the creation of a bespoke typeface and an animated logo sting. The print and digital formats covering everything from billboard posters and ad shells to advertisments.
