Jimmy Carr Destroys Art
Working with Clear Stories and Channel 4, Studiopretty designed and developed from concept through to finished animated sequence the title card design for this controversial arts program that screens tonight at 9.15pm GMT on Channel 4.
Harking back to the edgier Channel 4 of old, this partly live production, was shot in the Print Works London with a panel including Janet Street-Porter and Dom Lolly.
In the programme Jimmy Carr investigates whether it’s possible to separate controversial works of art from their creators, and the wider theme of cancel culture and activism within the art world.
He also guides the studio audience towards deciding whether various controversial pieces of art get destroyed in front of them live in the studio.
Sound design by Rich Farnsworth. Broadcast design technical support from Sim Tennant. Additional creative direction and consultancy for broadcast from Anna Blue.
